We believe a useful website should be clear about what it records. This policy describes the information Bissano collects through visible forms, the operational diagnostic, the choice-led AI conversation and website analytics.
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Bissano collects, uses, stores and discloses information when you visit bissano.com.au, use an interactive diagnostic or choice-led AI conversation, submit an enquiry, or otherwise contact us.
2. Information we collect
When you submit a visible enquiry form, we may collect the information you provide, including your name, work email address, phone number, company name and the details of your enquiry. Some campaign pages ask only for a work email and may also record an optional problem category you choose. When you use the operational diagnostic, we record a random session identifier for that browser tab, calculator progress and choices, the landing page used and the advertising attribution attached to the page link. When you use the choice-led AI conversation, we record an anonymous conversation identifier, the shared AI responses and choices shown, the choices you select, response timing, concise AI-generated summaries and structured observations about the business problem being explored, and whether you request a contact handoff. Advertising attribution may include UTM parameters, campaign, ad-set and ad identifiers, Meta or Google click identifiers, and an available referrer origin/path. We do not use hidden form fields or browser autofill to collect unsubmitted contact details, and the choice-led AI conversation does not ask you to type personal information.
3. Why we collect it
We use submitted contact information to respond to your enquiry, assess the availability and suitability of an offer, understand the process you described, provide requested services and improve our website. We use diagnostic and AI-conversation interactions in aggregated or lead-context form to understand which operational problems visitors want help with, improve the interaction, measure where visitors continue or leave, and prepare a useful summary when a visitor asks to contact Bissano. We may use advertising attribution to understand which campaigns generated an interaction or enquiry.
4. Analytics and advertising
Our website uses Google Analytics and, on the Show Me Your Problem and Let’s Fix It advertising landing pages, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API measurement. Meta may set advertising cookies and process browser identifiers, campaign parameters, a submitted enquiry event, and the event source URL under its own privacy policies. When a visitor visibly submits an enquiry on either of those landing pages, Bissano sends Meta a one-way SHA-256 hash of the submitted email address and, where available, the Meta browser/click identifiers, browser IP address and user-agent to measure and optimise advertising. Bissano does not store the IP address or user-agent in its database for this purpose. The operational diagnostic records its progress and selections to help Bissano understand the journey from a campaign visit through to an enquiry. The choice-led AI conversation uses an external AI service to prepare reusable responses for defined choice paths. Bissano stores those shared responses separately from each visitor's chronological selections and advertising attribution. Contact details and campaign identifiers are not sent to the AI model as part of this choice-led interaction.
5. Storage, security and disclosure
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. Enquiry, diagnostic and AI-conversation records may be stored in systems used by Bissano to manage leads, review website interactions and provide services. We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our website, AI interaction, email systems, analytics or advertising services, only where needed for those functions or as required by law. We do not sell personal information. We do not record an IP-address field or use browser fingerprinting for these Bissano diagnostic and AI-conversation records.
6. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask us for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may also ask questions or make a privacy complaint by contacting us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its latest update date.
